On every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month from 11.am. – 1:00 p.m. the Keystone Food Pantry Ministry is distributed with food from The Greater Chicago Food Depository. This ministry is not new to Keystone since its establishment over 30 years ago by Mrs. Mary Jackson and is operated by the church under the leadership of Donald and Margaret Jackson, two deacons in our church, with the help of several volunteers from the community and the church.
The mission statement of the Keystone Food Pantry ministry is to provide the community and church members with a service of food assistance, a will for a brighter day, and a prayer of hope while seeking to serve at least 175 needy people. If you are ever in need of food assistance don’t hesitate to visit the Food Pantry ministry on its open days. If you are interested in serving the community through this ministry by giving of your time in the food ministry, please feel free to call the church office at 773-638-7383.
